My Surprising Discovery of Facebook’s Money-Making Tools

It all began in February 2022. Facebook had just introduced its new Monetization Tools, but I didn’t even have a Facebook page yet.

I required a page to drive traffic to my website, so I chose to make one in July 2022. Initially, I only published a reel occasionally, once or twice a week. My concentration was completely on SEO and expanding website traffic through Google.

That’s when I realized an unfortunate reality:

Link posts don’t work well on Facebook.

They divert users away from the platform. You must know three things to get organic traffic:

  1. Time- The longer you are on the platform, the more organic reach
  2. Content- Quality + Quantity + Intensity
  3. Number- Followers, Non-Followers, Groups, Pages

The only way to make them successful early on is through paid ads.

Shifting to Daily Reels Changed Everything

By February 2023, I decided to start posting reels daily. It was time-consuming, but it led to major changes.

After two months of steady posting, one of my reels suddenly went viral. It reached nearly 1 million views overnight. That single viral video prompted a quick increase in new followers.

By the end of March 2023, my page was monetized. I had accomplished it all without ever appearing on camera.

My Earnings Quickly Escalated from $17.52 to $1,200 Per Month

My initial earnings were minimal — just $17.52 in the first month. But I knew this was only the start.

I increased my output to 4–6 reels per day. Within 3 months, my earnings rapidly rose to $120-$160 per month.

Fast forward 6 months, and I was making $800-$1,200 per month from Facebook reels ads revenue alone.

Here’s the key: You don’t need a massive following on Facebook to earn. Monetization is based on views from non-followers, which accounted for over 90% of my traffic. You don’t need every viewer to follow you as long as you get views. And even your critics on Facebook, their views assist you in earning money.

Facebook will pay monetized accounts up to $35,000 per month. Some creators even earn $55,000+ with bonuses!

Multiplying Earnings by Making Niche Pages

I didn’t stop at just one page. In May 2023, I created four more pages in health, relationships, marriage, and “make money online” niches.

Each new page added to my expanding income. On top of that, I earned money from my ebooks, one is “The Rising Content Creator”. It shares my tactics for making content that follows Facebook’s Algorithm, Content, and Monetization Guidelines.

Thanks to my past struggles with blogging and SEO, I could now apply that experience to be successful on Facebook.

The Truth About Overnight Online Success

Let’s be honest. Success online doesn’t happen overnight — especially on Facebook. It necessitates failure, resilience, motivation, and discipline.

There will be trial and error. Late nights and early mornings. Some attempts result in losses. Anyone proclaiming “$1000 per day while you sleep!” is exaggerating.

Earning at that level takes months or years of effort before you reach it. But the rewards make it worthwhile.

Final Thoughts on My Journey to $5K Per Month

Balancing this income stream with my family, career, and life hasn’t been straightforward. But with diligent work, it’s achievable.

If you want to earn money online, be prepared for challenges and hard work. But it leads to something genuinely rewarding.

Stay focused, keep adapting, and success will come. I’m the “evidence” that anyone can construct a lucrative business on Facebook over time.
